Common Questions

  • As a fractional Chief of Staff I provide the operational and strategic support, but on a part-time or project basis. The model provides the high leverage of your very own chief of staff without the full-time commitment and hefty price tag.

  • The short answer here is a classic "it depends". If you are a founder/ CEO with growth plans and you have important initiatives that you don’t have time for or items that have been on your to do list for over 2 weeks, the simple answer is yes.

  • If you are a growth focused founder or CEO, chances are you have tasks that take up your time. You probably have hundreds of things coming at you every single day. I help you with the big initiatives that help drive your business forward. This includes aligning the team, supporting and managing a specific project, smoothening operations and processes that are consuming valuable time and resources, supporting with meeting prep and communications for various stakeholders.

  • I am invested in all my clients. I want to make sure that I work on the most important initiatives to support their business and goals. At the beginning of our engagement, we will define what tasks are best to be pursued. I will start to work on these tasks. We will sync each week, either asynchronously, or with a 40-minute meeting to ensure projects are on track.

  • There are a number of ways to calculate this. Instead of thinking in terms of hours, we consider: founder time made available and outcomes of projects completed.

  • The full-time model can work for some. A solid CoS at an early stage start-up will run you $120k-$200k. Not only that, you’ll pay additional benefits and employment taxes.

    On top of this, you might not be able to keep a Chief of Staff or Biz Ops role busy all the time. You‘d end up paying for time that is not fully utilized. (Things change quickly in startup land.)

    With the monthly subscription, you can cancel or pause at the end of your billing cycle and resume at any time to make sure you’re getting the most value from our services. This way you’re only paying when you have work for them.

  • On average, most sub-tasks of projects are completed in less than 48 hours. However some tasks will take longer depending on complexity.

  • You're able to add as many project requests as you’d like, however they will be worked on one at a time.

  • We are a one-person agency. You’ll work directly with the founder of FlowCoS.

  • We are flexible with how you can request projects. When you subscribe, you’ll get access to a client portal where you can add tasks to a Kanban board (similar to Trello and other PM tools).

    You can create a backlog of projects and tasks there to be completed over the course of our engagement.

  • We’ll work together to establish project timelines that fit within this model. We will collaborate until you are satisfied with the end result.

  • That’s ok! You can pause your subscription when the work is complete so that your credits are not wasted. You can resume them at a later date.

  • We don't offer refunds but we will work with you until you are completely satisfied with the project.
